International Women’s Day Panel Discussion – March 8, 2016
In recognition of International Women’s Day, the Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration (CTDC) is pleased to participate in the Warwick University Community Speakers Series with a special panel discussion titled:
Women and the Global ‘Refugee Crisis’
This event will explore the gendered dimensions of forced displacement, focusing on the lived experiences of refugee women both in transit countries and after resettlement in the UK. Drawing from CTDC’s original field research, the discussion aims to move beyond policy rhetoric and toward a deeper understanding of refuge, survival, and resilience.
