🎥 Gendering the ‘Refugee Crisis’: Conference Sessions Now Available Online

Following the successful conference held on December 11, 2015, in partnership with the Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance at the Open University, the Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration (CTDC) is pleased to announce that video recordings of all conference sessions are now publicly available via our YouTube channel.
These sessions offer critical insights into the intersections of gender, displacement, and asylum, and are provided as open-access educational resources for researchers, educators, activists, and students engaging with the gendered dimensions of forced migration.

🎥 What’s Included
• Full-length recordings of all conference sessions
• Keynote presentations and expert panel discussions
• An exclusive interview with CTDC co-directors Dr. Nof Nasser-Eddin and Dr. Nour Abu-Assab, covering:
o CTDC’s field research on Syrian refugees in Turkey
o Gender and sexuality in displacement contexts
o Challenges of intersectional advocacy during humanitarian crises

🧭 For Educators & Advocates
We encourage universities, NGOs, and educators to integrate these resources into curricula, workshops, and public awareness campaigns on migration, gender justice, and human rights.
