Learning Design & Delivery
Learning that strengthens judgement and practice
We design workshops, training programmes, curricula and digital courses that help people understand complex issues, develop practical skills and make informed decisions.
- A curriculum or learning programme
- Learning materials
- Facilitator guides
- Assessment and evaluation tools
Commission this when.
We also build educational platforms for staff onboarding, corporate training and ongoing professional development, making learning easier to organise, access and manage.
We develop the content, activities, facilitator guides and assessment tools around the audience, learning needs and context. Our approach connects research, reflection and practical application, creating opportunities to question assumptions and work through real situations.
You can commission us to design a programme, build a platform, deliver training or prepare your own trainers. We work in English and Arabic, with in-person, online and self-paced options.
Any one of the following is reason enough to start a conversation.
You want to strengthen the knowledge, skills and judgement of staff, partners or other groups you work with.

How we design and deliver learning.
Start with the need.
We identify what people need to know and do, what they already understand and what support they need to put learning into practice.
Connect reflection with practice.
Drawing on feminist and critical approaches to education, we use evidence, discussion and practical exercises to help people question assumptions, examine power and build skills.
Design for the audience.
We account for language, accessibility, roles and working conditions. English and Arabic materials are developed with attention to meaning, examples and context.
Make platforms easy to use.
We design and test how people access learning and how administrators manage it, then refine the platform and content through feedback.
Prepare for continued use.
We equip trainers and administrators with clear guidance to deliver programmes, onboard future groups and keep content up to date.
Evaluate learning and results.
We agree how success will be assessed, including understanding, practical application and, where relevant, onboarding time. Assessments and feedback help identify what needs to improve.
Working in your language
We work natively in English and Arabic across every service and at any scale: research design and fieldwork, policy drafting, training delivery, facilitation, and written deliverables.
We also work in French and Spanish on smaller assignments: workshops and training sessions, interviews and consultations, focused reviews, and translation and localisation review. This work is delivered by associates who work natively in those languages.
For large-scale work in French or Spanish, we will tell you where our capacity ends and help you structure the assignment accordingly. We have designed and facilitated consultations in English, Arabic and French across fourteen countries, so we know what this requires, and we do not take on work we cannot deliver to the same standard.
Where an assignment needs other languages, we can arrange capacity through our international network and will be explicit about what that adds in time and cost.
Selected work in practice.
A leadership curriculum for a global organisation
A global mine action organisation needed inclusive leadership training that worked across countries. CTDC developed a five-module curriculum covering power, organisational culture, governance, accountability and communication, with facilitator guides, exercises and evaluation tools. Piloted in Iraq and Libya, it became the organisation's global leadership training programme.

Bilingual digital learning on feminist MEAL
A partner wanted to make feminist monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) accessible to emerging organisations. CTDC developed an English and Arabic self-paced course, including content, interactive activities, assessments and setup on a learning platform. The course was released openly and supported by a live question-and-answer session.
