Why this is hard.
Most organisations we assess already have a safeguarding policy, and it is usually broadly correct. What is missing is everything between the policy and the person who has to use it: a reporting route that works in a country where reporting carries legal risk, a focal point who knows what to do on a Friday night, a response process that does not require headquarters approval before anything can begin.
Safeguarding fails at the point of use, not at the point of drafting. We design for the point of use.
We also work on what surrounds safeguarding: the organisational conditions that allow harm to go unreported, the decision-making that slows a response, and the culture that determines whether someone believes reporting is worth the risk.

What we do not do
We do not conduct disciplinary investigations into individual allegations. We assess systems, decisions, organisational conditions and institutional responsibility. If a formal fact-finding investigation is required, we will say so and help you identify the appropriate process.
